QCOM Failure at Resistance:

"...Here a good example of TA in action. QCOM sells off on garbage. The commentators try to calm the audience by saying its nonsense. But QCOM just keeps selling off anyway. What changed from 85 to 65? Guess we'll find out someday ;-)..."

Well, it was a failed break at resistance, off a decent bottom, a la Microsoft. It's the exact same chart. Note that the Edwards and Magee measured moves off the bottom formations were achieved before they cratered.

We Canadians are used to seeing all this. Remember the gold stocks way back when?

The markets are amazing. Nothing like a little war panic to mess with the already bizarre sentiment.

Lets not forget that the sentiment on the way up was just as bizarre. Starting in Oct 99, almost 300% price appreciation in three months, and it was already 'expensive' by any historical measure.
