Joe, I'm beginning to think that Arafat wants war too. My sense is that the Palestineans feel they've achieved all they will achieve through bargaining. The only thing left is war and the hope that outsiders will pressure the U.S. (via oil) to pressure Israel (via funds) to give in to Palestinean demands for an independent state. We can only hope it does not come to this, but I feel it will. I am very troubled by the intensity of the hatred these two camps feel towards one another and I don't see cooler heads being able to control the radicals in both camps. Pray I'm wrong. In the meantime....I wonder if we should all be investing in oil? Arkmen
