ADDICTION:

It was very painful for me selling MTSN at:

$45
$35
$30
and the last at $19.75

Now I am very glad I did.

It is normal to wonder whether the stock itself is
really close to worthless, but my take is just that the
market right now is worried about everything and it takes very little to drive something lower, and a LOT to move it
higher. As an illustration of the mood, look at the KLAC
quarterly report vs expectations, and the response of the
market--presently down $1.75!

I am going to be sitting on my hands for a while.

Best wishes,
Jim

Andrew;

First my post with those details:

Message 14453252

First, let me state, I am very much for the merger. I just, however, am strongly against coming up with any more $ for it. The market is giving a very, very low valuation to the group right now, esp. the smaller issues. The conversion rates are fair and adequate to all 3 companies without further adjustments. In a few years, all shareholders will be very happy with this. If they were to spend $50M, they'd best use by blowing of the merger and buying back 25% of the stock at today's prices.

Best Regards,
John Stewart

Since CASH is king and cash remains same or earns interest isn't it a better deal for MTSN to renegotiate a LOWER price for the merger partners. MTSN has $120MM cash! Agreed that technology gap and what not is great. BUT, current instability in market is worth waiting since the deals will become even chaper and MTSN will have commanding position.

CASH is king long live CASH - that is MTSN's cash. Mine is after CMOS, PRIA, MTSN and many others which keep making new lows each day
