Bush was the one exaggerating last night.
All politicians exaggerate.
And I think Gore has learned his lesson about the subject.
Still he was innocent of many of the so-called exaggerations the GOP accuses him of including internet invention, Love Canal and Love Story. The GOP spin doctor on CNN accusing him of these last night was red-faced and ashamed as he was caught in the lie. But he still refused to admit it was a lie. In other words, GOP will lie their face off ven if they know they're wrong. So why blame Gore for past tidbits? Bush last night said all three Byrd murderers were going to electric chair. Only two are. He also evaded almost every direct question posed to him about his record in Texas. Slip sliding and slippery. What they used to accuse Clinton of. Remember Slick Willy? Well now we've got Slick Shrub.

Neo,

Speaking of exaggerations and "details wrong", my husband noted to me last night that Gore even misquoted scripture, you would think if someone was going to "preach" to you citing the Bible, he would at least get it right.
