Ed,
Of course INTC is doing well. AMD had good earnings and cc. INTC warned, but AMD results make it a good buy. Dell uses only INTC chips, so it's also a good buy based on AMD taking INTC market share. CPQ is AMD's largest client so the best thing is to sell it on AMD's good news. Ask any analyst and they will confirm this. It has to do with INTC softness in Europe and AMD's having no problems in Europe. Besides that AMD chip sales for Telecom equipment was also strong and that can't last because MOT is having problems in the telecom chip area. Bottom line AMD should be down graded and all companies selling products with AMD chips should be sold off.
