Dear grampa: My pastor and I had lunch the other day. He asked me what I thought about a stewardship drive to pay down debt on our new 48,000 sf facility. I told him I would meet with several other members who are very wise and we would come back with a concensus. Last night we met for 2 hours and discussed the current state of affairs. Here was our conclusion. We decided to leave it more on a personal level. If you start talking to the average person about multi million dollars of debt and 15 or 20 k monthly payments there is no way that they can relate that to their credit card bill or car payment. Our general concensus was that Christ would return very soon and as long as we are bringing in enough money to make the monthly payments, which we are ; that when Christ returns let the bank have it back......likewise , getting immersed in the turmoils of this world, has no firm purpose...stay the course.In Christ .gregor
