ELON--Echelon Expands Facilities to Meet Demand for LonWorks Networks New R&D Office to Open in Livermore, California SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 2000--Echelon Corporation (Nasdaq:ELON - news) announced today that it has opened a new research and development facility in Livermore, Calif. to supplement its main development facilities at the company's Sunnyvale headquarters. The new site is designed to support more than 20 software engineers, complete with development and test facilities.
