NW: Wow! Those were the days all right. Gas crisis. Violence in the Middle East. Worries about company earnings. Hmmmmm. Cigarettes were a lot cheaper, too. NW where is the bottom? Or maybe we should stop asking that question. There may, in fact, be NO bottom. Everyone is talking about capitulation, and there may be NO capitulation. Only this relentless grinding back and forth. Somebody on some thread said it was reminiscent of the 70s. I poo-pooed it at the time. Now I think I have to agree. The feeling is very similar in the markets. M2
