JNPR reported a blowout quarter. 78 % sequential growth. This might allay some fears regarding capex slowdown.

People are selling stocks now simply because they're going down. They're panicking with every piece of news, because negative sentiment only has two kinds of news: "bad", and "not good enough".

I agree with you....it does seem that many people are panic selling right now. Also...some selling may be due to margin forced selling.

IMO all of the recent activity in the market will have an enormous impact on our elections.
