I certainly agree that there is much more to the election than business angles, however, I recognize that our incomes in a very real and tangible sense represent FREEDOM. This election really is boiling down to the notion of returning back to the growing investor class the rewards of their labor to do with what they will, WHATEVER their inclination. OR NOT. Al Gore is fond of "targeted" tax "cuts", well, I see that as meaning he has a target painted on my back and that of my family. You see we don't "qualify" for his notion of who is "worthy". My son is single, my daughter is married with no kids, and my husband and I. I PAID for my children's education, I PAY for my own health care, and I PAY for my own retirement. I shouldn't be penalized for that. That's Al Gore's plan.
