Hi Zeev - thx for the perspective. I am not a great student of the ME, but I did follow their visit to Camp David, and I was surprised at the one sided intransigience, but figured that he was pressured by his own people and therefore he could not match Barak's offer. Maybe he thinks his survival is at stake here. I did not get all the pieces surrounding the murders and the retaliation, but it appears timing is not coincidence between the mtg of Arafat and Tenet. I guess we will never know the whole truth. Anyway, I think many people, even if they have no emotional attachment, will react like cellhigh, especially when the hotspot in the Balkans may be cooling down a bit, now ME is flairing up again Well, I am rumbling :) best, Bosco
