I do not think the psychology is desperate enough. Banner headlines, The New York Times, Washington Post, Time Magazine,

the market psychology right now is simple ... its in SHOCK ... right now ... all confidence and trust in the dynamics of the marketplace and the systems that evaluate values are gone until a balance can be re-established ... and that will take time ... when in doubt get out and stay out ... and thats what BIG money is doing ... right now
