what is Bush's reasoning for supporting this ban, other than kowtowing to the religious right? This pill is only for the very initial stages of pregnancy, hence the name "morning after". There is nothing late-stage about it. This is going back to the dark ages where religious biases are being used as a justification against modern healthcare.

I seriously doubt physcician/medical lobbies will allow it this kind of intrusion into what I believe is a licensing issue. They will kick up some major crap. It will never pass the House of Reps as it is currently configured.

Should it pass some time in the future the above will not be a big impediment.
