Maybe we see four digits tomorrow. Unlike yourself, I've kept looking for value in the market, and found it fairly profitable thus far. I am prepared to give back some of those gains to maintain a foot in the door for upside rallies. I am also not afraid to take profits in a rather aggressive manner, given our rangebound performance. Barrons mentioned a few weeks back, that while the dow and nasdeq were essentially unchanged on the year, they summed nearly 18000 points of up and down during the first 9 months. Surely there has got to be a profitable trade in that kind of action. BWDIK? I don't like seeing a hole in a destroyer, heliocopters shooting missles and people thrown out windows. What a wave of negativity. Thing is, if this escalates in a worse direction, I'll lose my profits on my long positions but we will all lose as the human race, by expending effort in destructive rather than constructive manner. Ah well, I apologize for the rant.
