"Reading is a civil right" is a beautiful statement on the problems of public education today.

It describes in few words everything I have been trying to say in regard to our education problem. And what hypocrites Democrats are to *force* children into substandard schools which are failing are poorest of poor children. Especially the ones in our inner cities.

"READING IS A CIVIL RIGHT"

AWESOME!

I would repeat that phrase over and over for the rest of the campaign.

The subject of hate crimes legislation is too easy to treat demagogically, so I do not blame him for being wary. Emphasizing education as the key to advancement was very good..........
