I was under the impression that the opposition to RU-486 was coming from drug companies who were afraid of the religious right. That is sad but understandable. Political opposition is another story entirely - you are right planned parenthood will be all over this. Its a hard sell on the "right to life" argument since we are talking about a few cells, hardly a baby. What a kook.

Not so.

RU-486 has some nasty side effects....like the potential to bleed to death......the legislation requires the dispensing MD to be qualified to handle the EMERGENCY.

Surely this must bring joy to those that consider delivering a healthy baby a threat to the life of so many women.
