This implies the type of structural environment found on the Carlin and Battle Mountain trends to be present at Sleeper. The northwest structural trend has been a key factor for X-Cal's belief in the potential of the property to host new gold deposits on a scale relevant to the global gold companies and a premise of the company's land assembly at Sleeper. Acknowledgement of these structures is a big step forward. A second important concurrence by the evaluating team is that the intermediate volcanics and basalts, below the Sleeper rhyolite at the mine site, are also gold host rocks.
