Oct 12 6:47pm ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Gateway Inc. (GTW.N) Chief Financial Officer John Todd said on Thursday 20 percent to 21 percent revenue growth was possible for the personal computer company in the year 2001.

``We are comfortable with roughly 20 to 21 percent revenue growth next year,'' said Gateway CFO John Todd.

Speaking to investors and analysts in a conference call, executives added that they were comfortable with the analysts' consensus estimate of $2.29 for full-year earnings per share for fiscal 2001.

The company reported third quarter results that met both sales and earnings per share consensus analyst estimates as compiled by First Call/Thomson Financial on Thursday.
