Glenn many parts of CA are absolutley beautiful. I understand that folks in northern calif have
a real dslike for the LA types who decide to move up North and live with them. Probably a
different culture & attitude completely !

I have been to all parts of CA. My opinion is the view, air and climate is better here. That is a matter of preference of course.

And I have to admit- one of my goals in life is to get to Lake Tahoe before my 2nd heart
attack.

I have been to Lake Tahoe numerous time.

Seriously, have you had a heart attack?

Just most of them! These are the ones who haven't resigned themselves to the reality that Southern California won. ...in, say, 1955.
