I don't know that I agree with your statement. However if no ipo market exists that certainly puts a damper on the stocks current price. It seems though that the company is priced like none of its subsidiaries will ever ipo, and I do not believe it. There is no question that companies which are looking to monetize their assets through the ipo market have been hammered of late, and frankly had I known that the ipo of lmne was being put on hold or however you want to phrase it, I would not have picked up shares in mrvc at the levels that I did. I also admittedly did not predict the tumble that nasdaq and optical stocks have taken and my hats of to those astute market timers who knew.

DEFENCE OF THE STOCK:

I agree with you that this is (for the most part)

-- a gigantic promise (or set of promises) which seem to
be real

-- one VERY undefended stock

As such, as we are finding out, it is, in this market very
vulnerable. There are all kinds of things that MRVC can say and do to defend the stock that would stay away from
quiet period considerations.

Such as:

-- new customers
-- new orders
-- progress in the other subs
-- no risk from mid east conflict (if true)
-- what is going on in previously existing business now
part of what.....

etc, etc.

In other words, things that convince people that there is
ongoing valuable SUBSTANCE.

Hey, Noam and Schlomo, that time has come!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best wishes,
Jim

kvkkc, Or it could just be that since this has been more of a cult stock than an institutional favorite that weak hands are being rattled from the tree in droves. I expect the IPO's to go, good time or bad. Look at ONIS and SONS IPO's this year. Both took place at very difficult periods in the market and did well. all imo. tp
