Just got back from volunteering for Bush/Allen (George Allen, former governor of Va. now running for Senate.) Decided to work the phone bank, which is gruesome but needs to be done. The cold call list was pulled from people who voted in the Republican primary, so it's heavily weighted towards supporters, but was pleasantly surprised at the enthusiasm. People here don't care that Bush isn't a genius, they just like him, and approve of his policies. Clinton, of course, is a genius, enough said.
