Life doesn't begin at all. It is passed on. The life of the parents produce live egg and sperm which unite to make a new person.

Life is continuous.

FTR: I favor the availability of the pill as I believe it is the most humane form of after the fact birth control. Also I believe the moral issue, in this case, is a personal moral issue. Not a public one.
