Drew,

I just read the Gateway Q3 report on their IR page. Very nice indeed, especially the part about obtaining 50% of their profits from non-PC sales. Added to that, they beat the street by a penny, and are growing at >30%. Smells like a rose. It should certainly boost GTW tomorrow.

Dell may get some help from it, but the perception is that a) Dell is more of a pure hw play than GTW, and b) Dell, because of its size will be lucky to grow by 30% this year. Dell's own numbers will make or break Dell.

GTW has done a lot of things right. Unfortunately for me, I swapped over the 2000 GTW shares I had for DELL, when they were neck-and-neck at $57 in March! GTW has held up a lot better, wouldn't you say.

gtw in a logical market should help....but geopolitical events create less then logical psychology....

the events may be a catalyst, that when resolved could begin a reversal....
