If you think the teachers should "do something about it," what do you think they should do, strike? That's illegal. No, the people should do something about it and change their traditional attitude that teachers aren't worth very much. If teachers were held in the same esteem as the people they educate who become millionaires, then we wouldn't have all these problems with financing our education system.

At least the Democrats have some constructive suggestions, including incentives for teachers. Where is Bush on this subject? Still with the attitude of his fellow hell raising fraternity brothers at Yale?
