MSFT raised to "Back up the Truck" by Arnold Layne

MSFT (last price 54 3/8) was raised to a "Back up the Truck"
from a "DOJ avoid" today by Arnold Layne. Arnold sighted
a low PE, and a potential successful appeal. "We believe
the stock will not fall below $50, and could reach $130
a share before the end of 2001." No further comments
were available.

Tom C: You should be happy...the stock is looking more and more positive...surely more so at $39-45 than $107 5/16...wouldn't you agree? I thought you would.

and speaking of "avoid," I did raise the rating to "Avoid" from "Sell."
