The May low was 3050, that is the first support, then there is some support from a gap last year at around 2850 (the middle of the gap was 2950, if memory serves, since that was my target for the May low). With the middle East situation, we could get there, but if we do, I think it will be fast and furious and we should be higher by next Friday. Many indicators are now strongly indicating the forming of a bottom. Actually, this morning, we were on our way up until the ME exploded again. Despite a little selling I did today, I am still at what I consider "fully invested" (only 20% cash), I did do some "rebuying". I will probably sell SSTI on the excellent earnings news shortly after the opening (if they do not sell it off in pre-market <G>), and if it carries few others with it, I may lighten up there as well (like SNDK and SCMR), but I will be looking to reenter once the selling dries up. The problem will be to determine if it dries up, of course.

Hi Larry - even when the mkt was hot, I was leaning towards the 2 Als [Gore and Greenspan] as far as the SSI as was concerned.

I mean, saving is saving and investment is investment. Case in point, a colleague of mine had to raise cash yesterday b/c of margin pressure and b/c he has to pay for a home enhancement project. At 1st, I thought he had a separate pool for the house project and praised him for making prudent investment in his home. Then, he said he has not cashed in from the stock market to pay for it. Now, that is a shocker [that I keep it to myself.] This guy is riding on a lot of CSCO and VTSS since IPO, so I am not crying for him, but still, when he starts mixing different buckets up, disappointments bound to happen

best, Bosco
