Rocky, Excellent find on the e-books!!! Gemstar (GMST) is behind this one so I suspect it will have teeth! I think Bob Goligoski and Mike Wong and the rest of the SanDisk PR people will have their hands full trying to write up every new device that announces a CompactFlash, MMC, or SDMC slot design-in. In fact, it will probably be an impossible task! Just this week I read that Agfa has two new digital cameras with CompactFlash slots as well. Someone in Sunnyvale has been out making the case for CF!!! I am not expecting design-ins to start falling into our lap, but I kind of get the feeling that we have reached the point where SanDisk's flash memory cards, and in particular the CF and MMC/SDMC standards, have enough inertia that SNDK won't have to push the standards to get the design wins. These are very popular standards now with their own gravitational force. Aus SanDisk...resistance is futile
