Another Temple Mount Clash Set for Monday?

The current round of Mideast tensions was sparked when Likud leader Ariel Sharon made a visit to the the Temple Mount, one of the holiest sites for Jews and Muslims.

Now we hear another visit planned for this Monday could spark a new round of violence.

A group called "The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement" is planning on meeting this Monday at the Temple Mount area to "lay and anoint a cornerstone for the Third Temple."

The group says it has received an OK from the Israeli government to hold the meeting and will be offered military protection.

The Orthodox Jewish group also has support from Christian fundamentalists who would like to see the ancient temple rebuilt on the original site to fulfill end-time prophecies.
