jcj, that's they way most people feel near bubble tops - be they tulip, bird or stock bubbles. alas, w/o that kind of attitude bubbles would not occur.

i think it is greedy to not sell a stock well above fair value. not selling csco when it was valued at over 10% gdp is just plain, to use your word, goofy. fair value is a matter of opinion to some degree, however, i have mine and we are definitely still in a bubble market, imho.
