OK, but why not just 30% less? The Athlon is superior, right, so why give the implicit impression of AMD being a low end supplier in the pricing?

Another thing that bothers me is Jerry spouting about AMD being cheap. This is the same Jerry who dumped 500,000 shares, I think 25% of his holdings, in August at $38 after he'd seen that July and August were slow, which we only find out yesterday. If the share price is so damned low, why doesn't he buy back 800,000 at current prices with that cash? That would give me confidence. At present, his words ring hollow.

Doug, if I'm not completely wrong it was clearly stated at the CC that there WILL be a faster Athlon than 1.2 GHz this quarter.
