Earlie, If you examine the numbers emanating from Europe, they actually paint a better picture than those of the U.S., at least if one takes the time to discard the "hedonic" baloney first. Care to elucidate by quoting these numbers? I have seen estimates of ECB economic growth using hedonic methods (in the Economist, a few issues back), and those were still lower than similarly calculated rates of economic growth in the USA. In fact, the Economist had a few detailed articles on this part in recent future. -BGR.
