There's 0.5M new families every year that have been witnessing the devastating impact that this disease has on people, their ability to fully enjoy life, and, their ability to maintain independence. And that includes Julia Levy's own mother. Prior to Visudyne, some barbaric retinal specialists actually burned a hole through the macula, immediately destroying some vision, hoping to stop the abnormal blood vessels from causing further damage. Any informed patient suffering from AMD will opt for Visudyne therapy, IMO. And no shoddy poll, by a house which may well have an undeclared vested interest, will change that fact. FWIW, Ian.
