Yes, this is true. The brittish were not fools. When they partitioned Palestine, they did so with the knowledge that there were 3 distinct groups there. Moslems, Jews, and Christian arab. The moslems, who btw offed NO help to the jews in booting the brittish, promptly turned over the land given to the to the Hashemite kings, and started screaming that they had no homeland. But in reality, the conflict now revovles around a much more human emotion. One Israel, with 2.5 million jews, surrounded by 22 arab nations consisting of nearly 200 million, and they got theit asses kicked in 4 seperate wars. They have even tried, en masses, to sneak attack Israel twice (67 and 73), with disasterous results. What sticks in their craws worse than all the rest is the fact than in 67, 13 nations launched a simultaneous sneak attack, which resulted in the loss of Golan, Gaza and Jerusalem. It is now a matter of pride. They will never be able to look into their mirrors as long as Israel exists.
