did we have a 90% downside day issues & volume?

The Lowry's service noted last night that "market declines of the size already seen usually do not end until investors panic, generating one or more 9 to 1 downside days [a day when both downside volume and the number of points lost are more than 9 times their upside counterparts]. Today's decline qualified as a 7.5 to 1 downside day (75%) – a relatively mild downside day by historical standards – suggesting that the decline has further to go."

<EDIT> Bobby, on the open yesterday I remember the NASDAQ (down vol/ up vol) was a hair over 7:1 then narrowed to 4:1 and where it went from there I do not remember. I believe the 7:1 was max for the day.

Jan, have you been watching BVSN? It hit 25 yesterday and now touching 20 today. This may be a good cheap one to start playing the cycles provide it indeed establishes a consistent trading range. What about AMZN? New trading range 24-28? Your comments? GH
