Hi Lazarre -
...
So for the time being, it appears that not only have the Big Boys entered the market beginning in October. . .but over the last two weeks they increased the volume to the down side. Remember that Thursdays historic lows were on extremely heavy volume. That was no doubt made up of short-covering INTO the panic selling.

So Friday morning, October 13th was the perfect day NOT to take the markets higher in a major way. The one day where the individual investors would be too afraid to join in. The Perfect Day!

And it worked perfectly. Gotta hand them credit for such an excellent play.

lazarre and Thread,

I am back, and no I wasn't cheating, I am kind of glad I missed out on all this short term agony. I was out in Knowles Canyon, deep in Lake Powell, Utah, with no phones or computers to be had, just coolers of beer and ribs and two ski boats. One of my friends on the trip, a product manager at QCOM, tried on his best phone to get anything, but had no luck. I told him to get an Iridium phone. <BG>

Anyway, my/our investments got crushed, plain and simple. I read our CEO's statements regarding business conditions and they are positive, and the 3Q report should confirm this. The only thing is, will the Street care? Everyone is getting crushed, not just AHAA, so the Street may be ruled by bears for a while. My gut, however, is telling me this is almost over. Oil has probably peaked, the economy is still on track, and AHAA's business is strong. When everyone is done panicking, these stocks will move again.

Cheers,

Tom

Hey Thread, Head Alpha Cheerleader here with some more encouraging words.

I have found evidence that a good earnings report and forward look can actually move a stock in a positive direction in today's market. Look at TFS (which I own). It bottomed last week around $18, and after a good report, has bounced above $32, a near double, although far off its highs. I am hoping that AHAA will be treated the same way, as it is crazy cheap and depressed for no fundamental reason I can find. After earnings this Wednesday, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for the market to wake up and smell the value.

Cheers,

Tom

Well people, get ready for an ugly day tomorrow. Overvalued POS RFMD just announced that the 4Q is going to be weak, with revs down 20% and earnings about 1/2 of 3Q. This will spill over to AHAA. Hopefully only the day will be ugly, and AHAA doesn't pull that kind of surprise tomorrow afternoon.

I'm going to drink some beer now...

Cheers,

Tom
