Hi Michael - don't get our hope too high. The market is still skitish, oil is high, and middle east is as messy as yesterday, there is likely a sell off towards the close as traders decide not to hold anything over the weekend. best, Bosco

Here is a positive LONG TERM tidbit on Compaq Alpha: Interesting article on the Ericson deal at the Register theregister.co.uk The interesting statement from Shannon Knows Compaq is "The fact that switches have very long product lifecycles (say six or more years instead of two to three years as with a server) indicates Ericsson's confidence that Alpha will be around for a long time to come," he said. "Both the longevity factor and the incremental revenue are good news for Alpha."
