Re Dells image:
There would be two images for Dell, public and behind the scenes and we only see (without digging)g the public side.
Properly, with present emphasis on home and small business ads, that would be as the highest quality PC maker in competition with other PC'ers.
Think Dell, think computers and peripherals. I don't need extra storage, servers or routers.
Dell sales department will handle these other products
in direct contacts with companies and I would not expect much if any paid advertising to distract from "PC maker".
Alas, still a box-maker, but what lot of "boxes"
If Dell made $24 bil of computers at $1000 each they would need 24/28 th the entire production of AMD processors.(which seem to be in short supply)hehe

MEATHEAD, the big difference is the GTW is growing bottom line at 3x top line and Dell's bottom line is at 50% of top line. To me that speaks to the quality of GTW sales at much higher margins. Apparently, Gtw has not adopted Dell's strategy to take pain to cause much pain. At this point, it seems to me the only people taking pain is the shareholders. People who have stood by and have been mislead by management while they tout the stock while they are unloading their shares.

:o)
