$10K for a 15x25 ft area of your lot!? Hmmmm....wait a sec. while I pull out the measuring tape. That's not bad for essentially a bedrooms worth of space, eh? Psssst....you should see the $$ they're commanding for a similar sized space here in NYC. Yeeeesh!!

Anyway, you're right....this sort of rapid plant expansion bodes well for WSTL longer term. For xDSL rollout, as a product offering, is currently at a level comparable to the first, early years uses of dial up devices, be they modems, faxes, teletype diablo daisy wheel styled dial up machines, etc., etc.. In other words, only 1% covered and LOT'S of room for growth and build out. But it's not just me who thinks this way. This was also the essence of CMTN's CEO commentary in a recent interview, too.

So given WSTL's position with their clients I'd say they're sitting in a sweet spot. 'Course...the market will probably only buy this idea post earnings day and conference call. It looks like it's gonna need to hear what the WSTL future looks like from management's standpoint.

John~
Meanwhile, look

SocialSteve,

Hope you take the opportunity to peek in when they install the equipment and ask the techs about what kind of equipment, who makes it, are they doing fiber to the CO and whose equipment for that etc. Unique opp to see and learn firsthand. Hope you share what you learn.
