Steve, as for 0.3% core jump in PPI, it has been know for
year that car prices go up one a year in September.
This year it was the biggest jump in many year.
From now there will be no "cars" in PPI untill next fall.

ZO,
I know you're smart so I'll try to do this again... I know you'll get it.

There is a difference between responding to a comment on a thread with data and simply posting an unsolicited information simply to cause irritation... The post you cited was in response to ridiculous comments Flynn made. Your post on the LU thread was in response to nothing... it was simply posted to brag and potential create ill-will. There is a distinct difference.

Now, here you go digging up old information and posts and for some reason you want to discuss it again. We put this behind us already. I'll refrain from calling this action childish because I believe english isn't your main language... however typically when a discussion is completed in the United States we move on... FWIW I have the Del Oro report. ALA has leadership in the ADSL market according the report. Also according to the report Cisco is gaining market share in the overall DSL market which is what their press release stated and which is accurate. As you are aware this xDSL market includes other DSL technologies besides ASDL, e.g. IDSL, SDSL, SHSDSL, VDSL, etc. I believe this is where the disconnect is. Further ALA's lead is due to the fact their nearly giving the equipment away. ADSL equipment prices for ALA equipment has been dropped (according to ASP's on Del-Oro) by 50%!!! No other competitor has followed suit because doing so would mean negative margins. So, ALA is buying market and losing money. I'm not sure I'd call that a win. Even as ALA does this competitors are gaining REVEUNE market share. Furthermore the market is moving away from ADSL to SHDSL most likely, where it will be a whole new ball game.

Can we drop this now... better yet... why don't you buy a copy of the Del-Oro report and you'll see the data for yourself.
