Anyone have a clue why AMD did not announce the 1.2 GHz this week since shipments must have started at least a week ago? Waiting for Intel's earnings to do that doesn't make sense because AMD's good news will once again get totally ignored alongside iNTEL's disastrous report coming Tuesday. The only positive spin I can think of is that they will announce 1.2 and 1.3 the same day and they are awaiting sufficient inventory of 1.3's to make the announcement, which might not come until 10/23 or so. That would explain the "nothing over $500" situation. Petz
