Yes, but lots of people. It's just a giant voting machine, remember? I agree that SSTI is undervalued compared to almost every decent tech stock. In the long run, that might matter, even in the short run.

But I'm probably the wrong person to comment on buy-and-hold concepts, because the only success I've had in this market (1998 - 2000) is with daytrading. I don't even like holding overnight, let alone several months. If the chip sector remains solid for several more quarters and SSTI has a PE of less than 10, then it'll be a steal. However, remember that solid chip makers, like TXN and MU have traded at current (not forward looking) PE's of less than 10. Many investment houses still seem to believe in the chip cycle.

Another positive thing to keep in mind about SSTI is that last time they said they would earn at least .50 a share, they actually came in at well over .70 (pre-split). So their $2.90 figure is probably very conservative.
