I completely agree...I don't know where big cap tech will bottom...I expect it will be a long slow process. 3-5 years. These fat bloated stocks won't get a cent of my long term capital for years. Just playing the bounces though. Then the futures go like today you just have to buy. Cash by 4:00 pm. My favorite day trading stock CREE has been great to me. I'd like to say thanks to CNBC for screwing up as usual. Free money!!!

There's some interesting discussion on the Clown thread

That sounds like an oxymoron to me.What caused you to leave your happy home thread?

Sorry to break the bad news but we're all stocked up on Clowns here. Not much use for another one.

You have a nice day.

"IMO, there won't be one single tech company worth over $100 Billion when she bottoms. Maybe not even over $50 billion"

Chic, you are 23. What the hell do you know about valuation and how to calculate it? Your idea of a good value is probably nickel beers at the local bar. If you want to have any money to retire on, quit the daytrading while you are ahead and go long on solid companies like Cisco and Nortel. Then re-evaluate every year or so. Otherwise, I can promise you that it is probable that you will be just another statistic proving the downside risks to daytrading.

BTW, all the really good daytraders I know, have 90% of their wealth in investments they don't touch. Then they play with 10% or so. That's how they keep their wealth when the numbers catch up to them.
