To say that you have Free Will so long as you are not deprived of your freedom is really circular logic

Correct. I was too deep into my own thoughts about how the future is created by us. The Intention (A) creates the Act (B)--20 years down the road. The only determinism there is the determination of someone with the Will to make something happen.

It sounds to me that you are saying that Free Will is sort of a force of nature which allows you to change the future.

I don't know, TP. When one sits with what one knows, and tries to make everything fit--without putting square blocks into round holes--yes, I think (beyond the uncertainty principle, which is in a subatomic realm) there is a larger uncertainty principle which is in the realm of consciousness. This uncertainty principle (inherent in our Consciousness and Will) is what truly creates a random future at the universal level, and a very predictable, teleological future at the individual level.

Your idea on time is very interesting. For me, once movement either ceases entirely, or is entirely at one speed (which is the same thing)...time will cease. If we could recreate the position of all waves/particles/atoms as they were 3 hours ago (put determinism in reverse), that would be time travel. If we don't peek...we can almost make time stand still. Joshua made the sun stand still. Also a neat trick!
