I have seen on briefing.com that the market may sell off late in the day as traders will not want to hold positions through the weekend with the crisis in the middle east. Thoughts from anyone will be appreciated?

Jeff
A selloff in the last hour would not be unusual and should not be a cause for great concern.I would honestly be pleasantly surprised if Cisco held onto this large a gain.
Cheers
Ed

The spring was wound pretty tight for the market to rebound sometime soon with all the bad news this week.

Longer term the market will turn up before interest rates begin to drop as the fed reacts to the economy slowing down.
I have to admit that I've been surprised how resilient the economy is. The last couple fed rate increases are finally starting to have an effect and coupled with the rise in energy prices will take a lot of steam out of the economy.

I'm still looking for the fed to lower rates sometime in the first half of next year. The markets should turn before then. Between now and then we should have some great buying opportunities. IMHO!
