Greg, ok I'm in a rut, can you, or anyone else for that matter, point me towards the source, of the reported total of borrowed/margined dollars? Who is responsible for collecting & reports such info., when, how often, ect...? Thanx.

I know this may seem absurd, but I've been involved w/literally hundreds of financial systems application, selection, purchases & installations. I've worked w/system designers for financial applications & my soon to be wife is the director of financial systems for a dow traded co. I can't help but wonder, knowing how easily this information must be able to be garnered, what regulations, securities, safeguards, ect... are required or in place, if any, to curtail the temptation to utilize such info. in a manner not known or understood by the account holders. Literally push a button & you have a rpt. or graphic which provides details on what securities are highly margined & for how much.

I'm not saying that this goes on, but I know how easy it would be, & the human animal is at best a moral/ethical paradox. Kind of a scary thought.
