OT

We have to get rid of our addiction to foreign oil. The technology exists to displace over 1/3 of our oil consumption right now. Think what that would do for our balance of payments problem not to mention pollution!

Dear Mindmeld: I personally saw him make the Gay statement. It was more like, he PERSONALLY did not believe in them etc etc but he also was inclined to give Gays EQUAL not EXTRA protection under the law. This is not an exact quote but that is what I interpreted as what he said. JDN
