SSTI is a leader in an industry where it is not only sold out but is sold out at rising prices. It also makes money on products sold by competitors thru its patent suite.

AMD is the high cost/low price competitor in a market it shares with a gorilla, and a market that is slowing and headed for massive overcapacity, not in a few months time - but right now.

AMD is a leader in flash as well (both in production and technology). AMD isn't a high cost competitor and it has better bins splits then Intel. The massive overcapcity you predict would be a problem it it happens but we disagree on that. AMD is gaining market share right now, but if the capacity is still do high, they can convert fab25 to flash if they have to.

Steve , that's the kind of conventional Intel oriented thinking of AMD that makes me laugh . You are wrong in many ways which I could enumerate but since you have already made your mind up
I will not waste my time .Brian
