Jacobs fires latest salvo with CNC at 5 1/2, down from 9 5/16 when the Great Conseco Short Squeeze of 2000 was initiated: irwinljacobs.com Mr. Jacobs sounds a little tired to me in this, his sixth installment. Hopefully, some of his many supporters will post messages of cheer to lift his spirits. For though Jacobs has failed in his attempt to manipulate CNC's stock price, he failed while daring greatly, and for that I believe he deserves a place in the "Hall of Heroes" alongside Tokyo Joe and the Lebed kid.
