If someone stole fed money they ought to go to jail.
My point is that the Clinton Administration has been a pretty damn clean one. Very few scandals outside Clinton's sexual life. Compare to Reagan with the S+L debacle, Irangate, etc. and there's just no comparison. And don't even get me started about the Nixon administration.
I know that's ancient history. I'm just worried about the same type white collar crooks or maybe oil biz good ole boys getting a lot of personally-profitable de-regulation bills past Bush and his people if elected. Texas has a very bad track record GOP or Dem when it comes to those kind of inside dealings. I just don't trust 'em, sorry.
The S+L debacle should have taught us all what to watch out for. And GW did get away with insider trading while his daddy was president too. Cheney made millions at the post-government trough and gave 1% to charity. It's a whole fox in the chicken coop mind-set that has a history.
