Don't worry, Mike, the bear will be back next week, probably towards the end of the week. There will be nothing but doom and gloom, WWIII will be about to break out in the middle east, oil will be going to 100, inflation will be going to double digits, the euro will be used as toilet paper, and the consumer will be buying like mad. Load up on calls then.

Today was very disheartening for bears

Not at all. It was a vicious snapback rally, very typical of bear markets. The most unbearish thing today would have been a capitulation selloff day.

Sure the Comp may even meander back to the mid-3000s for a while, until earnings season is over. But in a while we'll be back down and eventually 3000 will not hold.

<<All weakend I will have to hear about the birth of the new Bull(sh#T)market. double ARGHHHHHH!>>

Relax. This "brand new baby bull" will create the most beautiful short/poot opportunity we've had in months. Although admittedly, if you didn't bail on 'em today, October poots are now officially TOAST!!<NG>
